I am proud to say that I am a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Illinois with the following degrees: Bachelor of Science in Accounting, a Master of Business Administration, and a Master of Science in Taxation. I specialize in tax consultation to individuals, small businesses, and start-up companies. I also provide expert advice to individuals handling disputes with the Internal Revenue Service and local tax authorities.
Prior to managing my own practice, I worked for local Public Accounting firms specializing in taxation and auditing of non-profit organizations and private companies. Wanting to share my expansive knowledge with tomorrow’s Accountants, I currently teach accounting courses to undergraduate students at local colleges. I have also taught CPA Review courses for candidates preparing to sit for the CPA exam.
I am a member of the Illinois CPA Society, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting.
My passions are competing in long distance races including marathons, keeping fit, playing chess and reading accounting and tax literature, which explains why my clients refer to me as a walking tax text book!
